What’s that smell of dead fish?

Welcome to Gambaro’s restaurant and seafood emporium in Brisbane. One of the beneficiaries of the fortune made by the seafood giant is Teresa Gambaro, the federal Liberal MP, Tony Abbott’s spokeswoman on citizenship and a vicious Howardite.
She has told The Australian’s Patricia Karvelas (who else) that new immigrants should be taught the Australian custom of wearing deodorant and other cultural imperatives.
“Without trying to be offensive, we are talking about hygiene and what is an acceptable norm in this country when you are working closely with other co-workers,” Ms Gambaro said.
Certainly wearing deodorant might be useful for workers in the Gambaro family’s seafood emporium and it is probably a necessity for anyone in the shadow cabinet sitting near either Tony Abbott, Scott Morrison, Christopher Pyne, Philip Ruddock, George Brandis or Bronwyn Bishop.
Ms Gambaro claimed the nation was failing its obligation to teach new migrants how to fit into Australian culture on issues such as health, hygiene and lifestyle.
Obviously we failed this member of the Gambaro family too. No one ever taught her manners, decency or respect. She should take a bath to get rid of the smell.
